Academy News

Busing Reminder for Parents: Marinette Public Schools do not have school on February 17 & 18. However, Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy has school. The shuttle bus will run as usual for the morning transport on those days, but it will bring the elementary students to the STAA Marinette Campus parking lot in the afternoon. Parents will need to pick up their children there. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

The Catholic Central Athletic Club will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 27 from

8-11:30 am in the STAA High School Gym. All proceeds benefit Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy


The enrollment period for the WI Parental Choice (Voucher) Program has begun. The Voucher

Program is open to all Wisconsin residents and eligibility is determined by income and

residency. Please visit or call the office at 715-735-7481 for more information.


Congratulations to Jon & Jeri Keepers on the birth of their son, Luke, this past week! We’re praying

for them and sending them best wishes during this time.


Elementary News

Congratulations to Laura and Phil Finger (PJ-gr.6, Alisa-gr.5, ALivia-gr.2)! Phil and Laura were honored this past weekend as one of four 2021 National Outstanding Young Farmers winners! They were honored at the 2022 Awards Congress in Hilton Head, SC. What an awesome accomplishment! We are so happy for their family!

Ryan Onofrietti was our Elementary Student of the Month for January! The quality of the month was UNITY. Ryan includes everyone during group work time. He encourages everyone to participate and share their ideas. He also works to problem-solve disagreements between peers in the classroom and on the playground. Congratulations Ryan!

The School Store Fundraiser has started at the Elementary Campus. Packets went home on Wednesday. Friends and family can purchase a CaringforClassrooms gift card. Teachers can order supplies, equipment, and resources for their classrooms. This is all done online. If you have questions, please call the school office. Thank you for your support!


Middle & High School News

The Hi-Q Match that was scheduled for this past week has been changed to next Thursday, February 17 at 10 am at the STAA Marinette Campus.

If your child will be absent for the day, please contact the office at 715-735-7481 by 8 am or you may send an email to Mrs. Kramer at to report the absence. Thank you!


Saint Vincent de Paul News

The Saint Vincent de Paul Mini-Vinnies and Youth & Young Vincentians will be sponsoring a Bake Sale next Friday, February 18 at both campuses. Vincentians are asked to bring in baked items for the sale. All proceeds will benefit the Uganda Conference.


Local Parish News

Save the date! St. Mary Parish is hosting a Denim & Diamond Mother/Child Dance on Friday, May 13 from 5:30- 8:00 pm in the parish gym. Watch for more details as the date gets closer!
