Academy News


The Auction is coming! It is back to an in-person event and will take place on Sunday, April 3rd in the

STAA High School Gym. Please see the letter being sent home today that has more information about

how you can get involved either by donating time, talent, or treasure.


Students in grades PK4 through 8th who are interested in playing baseball are eligible to sign up with MYBI. Flyers are being sent home with students today with more information.

Elementary News


Student Council has organized some special days to celebrate Read Across America Week! They also planned a fun activity for students on Wednesday! Please see the yellow sheet for details. Thank you to Student Council members and Mrs. Wozniak!


We are hoping that spring is on its way but most days it still feels like winter. Please make sure your child has winter weather gear for outdoor recess. Thank you!


Anne Bartels, Marinette County Information and Education Specialist, visited with our students on Thursday. The topic was Wildlife Facts and Tracks. Anne's interesting presentation and hands-on activities were enjoyed by all!


The March Lunch Menu is coming home today. Please return them by Monday, February 28. Thank you!

Please keep Jim Denowski, our maintenance worker, in your prayers. He suffered some serious injuries while cutting down trees and is in the hospital.

Middle & High School News


The Middle School/High School Band Concert is scheduled for Monday, February 28 at 6:30 pm in the STAA High School gym. Band students should plan to arrive at 6:00 pm with instruments and books and report to the band room. Warm up on stage at 6:15 pm. Performers should wear dress clothes that follow the school dress code or school uniforms. The concert is free and open to the public.


Middle School Student Council News:

All Middle School students will be going to a day camp at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya on Monday, May 16 (please mark your calendars). The cost of the camp is $25, however students will be selling Sayklly's fudge eggs to cover the expense. Watch for order forms coming home on Friday, February 25. More camp details will be coming in May. Please contact Mrs. Maas with any questions. Thank you!


Congratulations to Tug Paidl (Grade 9) and Elizabeth Furst (Grade 8) for being chosen the Students of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter. The qualities that were focused on for this quarter were Kindness & Caring.


High school families: As a reminder, all students in grades 9-12 are required to complete 10 hours of Christian Service per semester. Students are encouraged to vary their hours of service between parish, community organizations, and the Academy. Christian Service Record forms are located outside of the Guidance Office.

The Catholic Central Athletic Club will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 27 and

Sunday, March 27 from 8-11:30 am in the STAA High School Gym. All proceeds benefit Saint Thomas

Aquinas Academy athletics.
