Academy News
Students will celebrate Catholic Schools Week next week! Special activities are planned at each campus with students focusing on parishes, community, country, vocations, faculty & students, and family. Thank you to the parish communities, families, and friends of Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy for their continued support and trust in our Catholic school.
Please note that there is no school on Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, February 8. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, February 9. Enjoy the four day weekend!

The Marinette Catholic Central Foundation is doing a survey that they would like all parents and/or grandparents to participate in. They would like to know the number of 1st, 2nd, etc. generation students who attended a catholic school. The survey is not specific to attending STAA/Marinette Catholic Central/Our Lady of Lourdes, but rather looking at all catholic and private education. High School News
Winterfest Week for high school students will take place next week. The Dress-Up Days are as follows: Monday – PJ Day, Tuesday – School Spirit Day, Wednesday – 80’s Decade Day, Thursday – Patriotic Day, and Friday – Team Colors Day (after Mass). The Winterfest Dance will take place on Saturday, February 5 with doors opening at 7 pm and the Grand March at 7:30 pm in the STAA High School Gym.
Saint Vincent de Paul News
The Mini-Vinnies and Youth & Young Vincentians are participating in the Community Food Drive beginning February 1 through 11. Items in high demand that are needed include canned soups, macaroni & cheese, ramen noodles, tuna, syrup, instant potatoes, hamburger helper, and spaghetti sauce. Items may be brought in to either campus and will be given to those in need at the Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Thank you for your generosity!
